Kalyn C Jannace, PhD, MPH
My research is focused on rehabilitation following neuromusculoskeletal injury (to include limb loss), occupational risk factors for traumatic brain injury, and pain management. I like using real world data and evidence to answer research questions and to inform more rigorous, hypothesis driven studies. I also research, and am highly interested in, Military Women's Health, especially as it pertains to occupational risk factors for outcomes across the spectrum of life (e.g., pregnancy, postpartum, menopause).
I am also extremely interested in, and follow, infectious disease - specifically special pathogens such as Ebola and Marburg - as well as global health security and immunology. I would love to get involved in research examining how injuries and occupational exposures are linked to changes in the immune system and immunological processes.
