Bethesda, MD, April 4, 2022 – Nadine Malloy has been approved as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF). Malloy had been the Acting CHRO since August 2021 and is a member of the HJF executive team, reporting to President and CEO Joseph Caravalho, Jr., M.D.
As CHRO, Ms. Malloy, who has served HJF since 1996, is HJF’s principal strategic advisor on global human capital and human resources directives and initiatives.
“Nadine has been a true asset to HJF through her leadership and expertise, touching many aspects and functions of our organization for decades,” Caravalho said. “Her outstanding work has improved processes and results in program management, clinical trials, operations support and now human resources, where she will bring her talents to direct a human resources team that continues to be flexible, responsive and focused on customer service.”
A U.S. Army veteran, Ms. Malloy began her career as an Arabic Linguist after graduating from the Defense Language Institute. She received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of both the Project Management Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management.
In 1996, Ms. Malloy began working for HJF as Clinical Trials Administrator in HJF’s Clinical Trials Department. She honed her program management expertise as Program Manager for the Center for Prostate Disease Research at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and earned promotions to Director, Clinical Trials Department; Senior Program Manager for HJF’s Program Management Office; Interim SVP, Program Management; and Senior Director of Program Operations.
