Major (Doctor) Theodore Hart

Major (Doctor) Theodore Hart joined the teaching faculty at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2021 and currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the SAUSHEC Surgery residency and Assistant Professor of Surgery for USUHS.

He completed residency training in General Surgery at the University of Chicago in 2019 and fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Stanford in 2021, holding board certifications in both specialties. He is a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy class of 2010 and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine class of 2014.

He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. As a staff surgeon, he has performed approximately 600 cases and was awarded Faculty of the Year from his residents in 2023. He is simultaneously an active researcher, serving as the Principal Investigator for multiple research endeavors to advance surgical combat care, with competitive grant awards totaling over $3.6 million. Dr. Hart is proudly married to Jennifer Hart, his spouse of 11 years; together, they have four young children ages 1 to 8.
